Transfering schools ?

I am currently enrolled as a freshman at Emmanuel college and i don't like it at all! My high school gpa is a 3.6 and my college gpa doesn't even touch that. I am miserable and my grades are not at all what they should be. My question is, should i leave before this semesters over so i can so when i reapply to schools i can apply with my highschool grades or wait it out and get my credits but keep a poor gpa.
