How much Monks are living in the Himalaya's [JimCarrey slinky stair scene,Pet Detective]? What rel R monks?

Those are Tibetan monks in the movie. There are all types of monks, but the ones in the movie are Buddhist. I'm not sure of a precise head count. No, Buddhism does not worship the Abraham God...however there are (or more prominently WERE) Christian monks (the most well known are Catholic - they just call them missionaries now).
