Changed price on auto title?

I just went to AAA to do get registration for used 01 lexus I just bought from private party. Sale price was 12875, which is what she put on bill of sale. I filled in back of title and put 11875, thousand dollars less, and I even made it all bold and obvious...will the CA DMV pick up on this? Will they fine me? Will I be in legal trouble for perjury? It only save me 80 bux...damn!!
