Cheap, easy work party appetizer ideas?

i work christmas ( boo :( ) and everyone is bringing in food. i'm bringing in an appetizer. my original idea was a guacamole layer dip (sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese and guacamole). i don't think it would be as good a few hours later though. anyone have an easy ideas? thanks!
