For those who switched their dogs to a grain-free diet, have you noticed this?

We fed our dogs Pedigree until we did some research on grain-free foods. Now they eat a grain-free food (Canidae) which they seem to enjoy a lot more, and their coats appear thicker and shinier, after only two months. But they also seem to have a lot more flatulence. Has anyone else's dog experienced this? Is it normal? Does it lessen over time as they get more accustomed to their new diet?
