Sound of Music Tips- Auditioning for the Baroness.?

The Baroness does alot of singing in the play, but not as much acting. So your main focus should be your singing. Make sure you pick a song that highlights ALL the notes in your range, especially the high ones, because the Baroness hits alot of those. You should project regally, because the Baroness is the owner of much land and a thriving company. A good actress will show herself as a strong individual who is 'in charge' as a character, but also someone who is willing to learn as a person. Good luck!
